Fixation

This is an original, limited-edition linocut titled "Fixation." 

This print is a reduction print. Meaning with each layer of ink, more of the linoleum was cut away from the block. There is no going back with a reduction print. Every mark counts. 

This print is all about the intense fixation of an Osprey on its pray. Osprey's have waterproof feathers, which makes them top-tier fishermen—er, fisher-birds. Thanks, Tom Hanks, for that fun fact (if you haven't started watching The America's, it is worth the watch).
