You Were Chosen

This is the second piece in a three part Nesting Series (see "You Are So Loved" and "You Are Not Alone").

This work focuses on adoption, the intentional, powerful act of choosing to bring a child into a family. The inspiration came from a small robin that fell from its nest in my backyard. For several days, we did everything we could to protect him. With time, care, and patience, he grew strong enough to fly away, leaving behind his temporary nest of weeds to begin life on his own.

Together, these pieces speak to love, belonging, and the quiet miracles that shape us.

Each print is a hand-printed linocut, rich in texture and character, making every impression truly one of a kind. I’ve created a limited edition of only 7 prints in each color (soft pink and baby blue) making this a thoughtful and unique gift for new or expecting parents.
